HLB collaborated with Carrier to develop a high-end residential air conditioning unit never seen before in the history of the category. The design is based on feedback from both customers and contractors. A dome-spared top was conceived, satisfying the desire for safety and an “outdoor-appliance” aesthetic per female customer feedback, and a high-end automobile aesthetic per male customer feedback. Infinity is also the first air conditioner to provide maintenance through the side, whereas others require a labor-intensive removal of the top for maintenance access. The end result if a top-of-the-line product that is completely unique in terms of its look, safety features and overall convenience for both customers and contractors alike.
